AI Interaction Designer Role
Imagine yourself at the forefront of the AI revolution, designing how humans will interact with AI in ways never seen before. That's what we're doing at 3blocks — creating AI interactions that feel intuitive, with the precision of scientific instruments, the accessibility of everyday tools, and the transformative power of groundbreaking technology. We face fascinating challenges that can only be solved by someone with innate product & UX sense, technical aptitude, and a deep understanding of both human cognition and AI capabilities.
What You'll Achieve:
Design AI interaction concepts that balance innovation, usability, and business potential.
Craft every detail of new AI features, from ideation to UX wireframes to pixel-perfect execution.
Collaborate closely with our AI researchers and engineers to bring your vision to life.
Partner with our Education and Customer Success teams to understand diverse user needs in AI interaction and literacy.
Create new interaction patterns that make complex AI concepts intuitive and practical.
Evolve our AI design system to ensure consistency and accessibility as we scale.
Skills You'll Need:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on complex systems or AI-powered applications.
Strong ability to understand and translate AI capabilities into user-friendly interfaces.
Expertise in creating clear, intuitive, and visually appealing human-AI interfaces.
Balanced approach to design, considering user needs, AI capabilities, and business implications.
Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with AI researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Ability to communicate complex AI concepts through both visual design and clear explanations.
Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Nice to Haves:
Experience designing AI-powered tools or educational platforms.
Understanding of machine learning concepts and natural language processing.
Familiarity with the work of HCI pioneers and modern AI ethics considerations.
Coding skills, particularly in front-end technologies.
Background in cognitive science, psychology, or human factors engineering.
